The first question I asked myself this year and the goal I want to uphold in 2021 is:
𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪-𝘥𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘺?
Here’s the thing: anyone can focus on one aspect of their lives and excel on it if all you focus on is just THAT.
If we focus on our business and put all of our energy into it, it is very easy for the other facets of our lives to become out of balance.
Our families, wellness, creative pursuits, spirituality, and eating habits all take a toll when we just focus on business.
On the other hand, if we focus ONLY on wellness, and keeping our bodies healthy, we might notice an income drop. Or our relationships falling by the wayside.
So my intention this year is to continue to create a multi-dimensional level of success.
Allowing my family, parenting, business, creative pursuits, and health to exist in synergy.
THAT is a true challenge. It is one I am committed to striving for. (Even if that means I have to slow down.)
Anyone can teach you how to build a business. But the ability to design a new business that allows you the freedom to truly do it all and not let one facet of your life take over (when you really want to be able to do it all), is much more complex.
What I practice, and what I teach, is about being able to create a lifestyle for yourself all while skyrocketing your income. (In 2020 I created a 6-figure income in the middle of a pandemic with a full-time job while co-parenting two little boys.)
As I design my 2021 plans, routine, goals, and reset my priorities, I am re-aligning myself to the way I want to move forward in my business and in my life.
Creating systems and mechanisms that make me feel accountable.
Developing a lifestyle, not just a business.
If you are concerned about bringing in new wealth, you need to be equally as concerned with all the other facets of your life.
That’s how you build a business that is sustainable, instead of getting consumed (which can easily happen for multi-dimensional musician-entrepreneurs.)
If you are feeling overwhelmed with all the possibilities for your career and struggle to know what to focus on and why I invite you to join my free 5-day masterclass series happening next week from Jan 11th-15th.
I am so excited to share with you how I’ve created this life for myself, and how I’ve helped my clients do the same.
You don’t need to sacrifice your artistic dreams or family life to become a prosperous musician.
