Selected as one of five national recipients, Dr. Claure was awarded this Fellowship to pursue a community engagement and outreach project. Dr. Claure organized and co-performed in a series of lecture-recitals for diverse audiences in Miami, FL.
2008-2011 University of Miami, Frost School of Music – Miami, FL     Full Tuition Scholarship to pursue Doctor of Musical Arts
in Piano Performance degree. Frost School of Music Teaching Assistantship with a stipend.

2006-2007 Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.) Scholar Award  
 One-time competitive, merit-based fellowship for women of the United States and Canada to recognize and encourage excellence in higher education. Selected as one of 85 recipients from over 800 nominations  throughout the United States and Canada, Dr. Claure received this award to purchase a grand piano.
